Once regarded as a great warrior but now a legendary entity, Babylon the Great was a prodigy of war and strategy who had mastered the used of magic, marksmanship and melee combat. With his combination of skill, power, and knowledge, he was quickly picked up by the Institute of War as an enforcer and peace-keeper between the many regions of Runterra.
After years of researching ancient runic stones and the energies that they contained connecting to the land, he looked to use their embedded power. He new that the ancient magic would be intense, endlessly training his body to be strong enough to endure. He was able to obtain the great power, but quickly learned that he would have to modify his own body in order to stay alive and maintain the energy harvested. In the end very little of his original body remained, but to Babylon, it was a small price to pay.
For generations to come, Babylon had originally used his new found abilities to assist any nation who'd hire as a way to better his control over his abilities. In a matter of months, he had become a master of ancient runic techniques, earning the title "Babylon the Great" as well as the attention of the Institute of War. It was here he learned the severity of the damage these wars were doing to the lands and that the institute wanted his skills to prevent further conflicts. Babylon had taken his new tasks to heart, and keeps a close eye over the Champions on and off the Rifts. Because of which, many of the champions began getting into feuds with him, the most notable is Sancleratis, the Pure Balance. While the two both seek to better the realm, both come to disagreements on how to achieve their goals. While the two do battle on the fields of justice, they are perfectly content in their battle of wits off.
Champion Spotlight:
Passive: Ace Combatant - Babylon deals bonus true damage when his abilities are linked into combos. If he combos 2 of his abilities: 15+. If he combos 3 of his abilities: 25+. If he combos all four of his abilities: 40+.
Q: Razor Edge - Babylon turns his hands into blades and dashes forward in a skill shot nuke, slowing an enemy when hit.

Recharging time: 6 seconds
W: Rift Fire - Babylon opens a rift above where he stands and will stay there for about 6 seconds or until Babylon gets to far away from it. During this time, for ever basic attack Babylon lands, the rift fires a shot. If Babylon uses an ability, the rift's damage is doubled but closes early.

E: Runic Canon - Babylon turns his hand into a canon and after a short delay, fires. Babylon can charge this ability for about three seconds where at it's max will do higher damage
